We took her too tons of doctors and yesterday we took her to the emergency room. Nobody can help!!!! She stays in bed all the time and when she tries to roll over sometimes she will scream from pain. She says its 10X worse than child birth. I am 15 and have been trying to help her but she says there isnt anything I can do. The pain is in her lower back and sometimes shoots down her legs. Any doctors out there? Please help. If you have any questions I will edit the answer so please check back. Shes been like this for 4 days....it happend a while ago for like a week or two but this time she says its worse.

Thank you.

  1. This could be from a combination of things. One is, A chiropractor can tell if it's a vertebral subluxation (where the spinal column bones are dislocated). If so, a series of adjustments could help her a lot. The shooting pains down the legs can be caused by nerves pinched by the subluxated vertebrae.

There are two things she can do for pain management. Have her try taking Natural Calm, which is magnesium powder, a half teaspoon at a time (too much causes the runs). She can also use emu oil on her back where the pain radiates. When she's better, she should incorporate lower back and abdominas exercises to strengthen the muscles that support her spinal column.

Hope this is all it is, and that it helps.

  2. Your Mom needs to see a specialist..so she can figure out what's causing the pain.

A lot of people are terrified of chiropractors, but a lot of times they can relieve the pain so that the person doesn't require surgery. This could be a number of things, Sciatic Nerve, Slipped Disk, etc.

  3. Pain can be caused by a wide veriety of things to no real reason I would get her in to a doctor asap to run some basic tests to make sure she doesn't have some kind of infection or disease, this may take some time they may have to put your mom in the hospital to do this but in the long run for her to get help is the answer. I have been dealing with pain for about 15 years my is caused by alot of different things a kidney disease to start. Good luck don't give up there is nothing worse than living with pain that doesn't go away I will keep you in my prayers Tena

  4. It sounds like sciatic nerve.  I had the same problem when I was pregnant. Do her legs go numb?
