My mom was a bubblehead and bought new foods for my dog while I was on vacation. The lady at the store said (according to my mom) that the brands were the same - meaning you didn't have to switch them gradually. On top of that, the lady gave my mom samples and said "just in case if the other one doesn't work" and my mom fed them to my pup too. Long story short, my pup has very bad diahrea. (I told my mom that you have to gradually change the food, but she'd rather listen to a teenage store clerk...)
What should I feed her so her f***s can harden? I've heard rice and non seasoned, thoroughly cooked beaf, is this correct? And can someone tell me how I should gradually change the foods, like when should I transition from 1/4 cup of the new food and 3/4 cup of the old to 1/2 new 1/2 old?
My dog's old food was eagle pack small and medium puppy, and now her new food is an adult brand of eagle pack hollistic lamb and rice. I also told my mom she needs puppy food, and we're going to get her eagle pack puppy hollistic.
