My mom decided to get me and my little sister a cat, what kind should we get?

We really are looking into an orange and white domestic shorthair but they're so hard to find. What is a popular cat that almost every shelter has and is really cute?

I'm sure you can find an orange/white one. call your local animal shelter and ask for their website. This way you can browse through some of their kittens that are available. I have 12 cat...from 4 years of age to 8 weeks and they are all loving. I have black ones, gray ones, orange tabby, orange/white tabby, black tabby, gray/black tabby. Shorthair is a good choice b/c they tend to shed less. I wouldn't go get a cat on a popular choice, I personally feel that once you go and see the kittens/cats you will know right away which one belongs in your home. Good luck with this choice! They are all loving companions, no matter if you get a kitten or a cat that needs a home.

jsut go to the shelter and get the one you guys fall in love with

i got one of my kittys from the shelter and i love her 2 death

the other one we got from someone my mom worked with because they were gonna put him in the shelter if they couldnt find any one for him
