My mom doesn't want me wearing makeup im 13

Question

I started wearing make up before i asked my mom and when she noticed it she got mad because i didn't ask her. But now i asked her and she said no. I looked at the question that ppl had asked before on yahoo and the average age seemed to be thirteen which is my age now. have i ruined my chances of changing her mind by not asking her?

you probably did. leave it alone for a bit and dont wear makeup (at least in front of her) give it a week for two then ask again. if she says no then give it another week or two then ask if she says no the second time. ask her why then respect her decision

You may have, but you shouldn't wear make up anyway because I bet your pretty just as you are, and most guys love the fresh, and natural look anyway. If you don't pressure your mom about it she may come around by the time school starts...

What kind of makeup are you talking about? At your age, I think it might be appropriate to start wearing foundation/powder and some soft eye shadows and such, but anything more than that is too much for your age, IMO.

I started wearing it at 12...

but i think just let your mom know what type of make up you wanna wear..

she just doesnt want her lil girl goin outta the house like a w***e.
