My mom found a 2-liter bottle in my room I pee in. What do I say when she confronts me?

I am 14 but I like to be naked when I am in my room and the room is locked. I have a clean house and a clean room so don't think I am like dirty.

Anyway, I live in a house full of 4 other brother and sisters and I don't want to get dressed every time I need to pee so I have like this funnel-thing I found in the garage and I put it in an empty 2-Liter bottle and pee in it so I can continue reading or homework or anything I was doing.

Well I was away for a week for camp and I came back and the bottle is gone and my mom said she wants to talk to me about something when she gets back from a trip.

I am so embarassed! What do I do?

tell her that you feel like it is inconvenient to get dressed just to go to the bathroom. if she tells you to stop though, make sure you listen to her.

oh and make sure you empty it out EVERYTIME you leave your room. (unless its empty when you leave your room) and make sure you wash it.

There's nothing wrong with putting on clothes just to go to the bathroom.  It's only for a few minutes.  Your mom may be thinking that you have some kind of bladder problem or that you are unable to know when you need to use the bathroom.

There's no avoiding being embarrassed. It would be a similar situation if your mom caught you looking at p**n or something.

You're just going to have to get used to wearing clothes... and peeing in a toilet. If you were camping, and you wanted to squat behind some bushes, that would be a different story. But you're in your house. There is no need to pee in a bottle.

Why couldn't you empty the bottle after each time you pee? Nobody wants to see week old pee in a bottle (or smell it.) In their child's bedroom. That is very gross, and one day when you're off at college, and peeing in the bathroom, your roommate will thank you. And later on, your husband will thank you.

YOur only hope is to tell the truth.  But the thing is that behaviour indicates you have an issue.  Urinating and deficating in inappropriate places is the sign of several different mental disorders, so it is right for your mom to be upset.  Why don't you just put on a robe when you want to go pee?  Geez, when I was 14, if I had locked the door my dad would have busted it down.

like everyone else said, you need to stop peeing in bottles. It's bad. now as far as getting out of trouble, you can't, the most you can hope to do in this situation is tell your mom the truth but be very dramatic if she talks about it, act really ashamed, crying helps too, trust me, it wrenches a parents heart to see their child sad and haveing a problem.

Explain that you don't feel comfortable in clothing when relaxing in your room. Then explain that it is too much of a hassle to dress yourself just to go to the bathroom, and that it isn't a bad thing or anything to be worried about.

First of all, I think you should start wearing clothes.  Also, you really should have emptied the bottle before you went, and you should have hid it, too.  But what is done is done.  I think you should tell your mom what you wrote here.  And, you should at least buy a robe so you can go to the bathroom without getting dressed.  You can't continue what you have been doing.  It is extremely unhealthy.

Well um, one your lazy, and two thats flipping gross, get up out of your bed, put on a night gown (they sell really cute ones at target that's just like a little dress) and walk your nasty tail to the bathroom.  You say your room is clean but it must smell like pee if you have collections of urine under your bed in coke bottles, and pee soaked funnels.

Thats so freaken weird. It takes time getting the funnel and doing your whole ritual as well I would just take the time and go to the bathroom.

Just be honest and tell her the truth. Lying will ONLY make things worse ! She is your mom and loves you !

Although it is a little weird, don't be embarrassed. Your explanation is pretty reasonable, and I doubt she will really be mad. I bet she is just really confused.
