My mom found out that i burnt myself on my wrist...?

she seemed mad but was just kind of like wow your stupid...we are going to the beach next week and i know she will see the cuts on my leg...do you think she will say something and if she does how should i respond? i dont want any tenstion during our vacation!! and please dont lecture me on how i should stop cutting and burning myself because im really trying i just dont know what to say to my mom...

I think you should come clean with your mom now, tell her that you feel overwhelmed and you think that hurting yourself is the only way to feel better. Tell her you think you might need professional help, because self mutilation is not an easy thing to over come by yourself. Ask your mom to be supportive, because having her call you stupid just makes it harder for you. Don't lie to her, you probably have a serious problem and need to have help. Tell your mom, or even a friend and have your friend around when you tell your mom, that way your mom might be a little bit nicer if your friend is there. The vacation should help you relax a bit, but it will only be temporary, as a longterm sufferer of anxiety and stress, I would advise you to seek professional help as soon as you can.

well if the cuts are bad and you can notice them easy you are going to have to come clean with your mom. i know its vacation but you cant really hide that stuff in a bathing suit. if you have a animal just tell her that it did it. my best advice would be to tell your mom because you need all the help you can get. im sure your mom will want to help you or get you some help because obviously something upsetting you and having a shoulder to cry on is very releiving.

  Do you have a doctor? If you do, you should tell your doctor. Tell the truth...don't lie to your parents. Jackie your Mom might be upset a little at first, but don't you think that you would feel better if she knew the truth. No one can tell you how much a parent loves their children....I am sure she loves you very much. Please take my advice and talk to your Mom and tell her so she can help you. When she notices say "mom, I could use some help".  This is a hard thing to quit on your own and you could use someone on your side.
