My mom got really mad cause I dropped an iPod in the toilet

Question

I was in Wisconsin, on vacation. The house I was staying at was really nice and there was a really good wireless router and I was texting my friend while on the toilet and he said I shouldn't text because I could drop it. I ignored him (I was texting cause I have AIM on my iPod and he has a cell phone so yeah)

Long story short I went to wipe and I dropped my iPod touch. On the car ride home my mom didn't even speak to me, she just said she was extremely disapointed and she could never trust me with expensive tihngs again. I'm really sad because I was saving up for a new Playstation portable but now she won't let me buy it because I'm too irresponsible. How can I show her that I am a good kid. I just accidently dropped my iPod touch in the toilet, it could happen to anyone

BTW this is a real question. Also I had Breaking Dawn, an E-book, on my iPod touch and I had to stop when she-well, no spoilers here.

Sorry to break it to you, but I'm sure most moms would be upset by this because iPods are expensive items.  You will just have to regain her trust and maybe you can convince her to let you buy the Playstation Portable since it will be with your money...Good Luck!

well, what you should do is secretly buy a psp then when your mom gets mad, you should throw it really hard into the toilet. She will realize you were right and she was wrong and you will realize that you were right and she was wrong and then you will live happily ever after for the rest of your life. Don't buy another iPod until she farts at least 3 times though otherwise she will punch you so hard you will. Hangs your name to Nevel Madden. Let me know if it works or if you die I stead. grow up, be responsible. my little brother broke every electronic thing he was given until he moved out. then he was stupid and got all his c**p stolen. it doesn't matter that it was an accident.

You could find some small jobs around your neighbourhood like weeding, or mowing peoples lawn, or ask your parents for chores to do for money, and save up your money to buy a new ipod touch, and from now on with all your things keep them in a safe place where nothing can happen to them, make sure all your things are in your room clean not somewhere were they could get broken or stepped on. Just show that you can be responsible, Maybe write her a letter letting her know that you are sad that she is mad at you and that you will make things up to her.
