My mom had an anterior cervical discectomy surgery. Why is he chest hurting & is having breathing issues?

it may be not related to the surgery or it cud be a complication of surgery if adequate post-operative care was not taken. for eg: prolonged immobilization can cause embolism, causing pain and breathing difficuly but the symptoms would b very acute. Get a follow up done soon and also a complete general check up done.
