  1. Have a talk with her, but not when she is in her crying mood. Find a good time like over dinner or while having a tea.....

  2. She may be going through early menopause. Hot flashes, and mood swings are very common at this time. There may have been something personal that happened that she didn't want to burden you with as well. Have a talk with her and ask one of these times why she is crying. Maybe she will tell you.

  3. it may be menopause... how old is ur mom?

  4. You did not mention if she is still with your dad or have boyfriend. she could be dealing with relationship issues that she does not feel comfortable discussing with you it is nothing personal just sometimes as adults we don't our children would understand. Just try and be supportive and tell her you are there if she wants to talk.

  5. Omg girl, it could be ALOT of things.

My mom was Just like that at that age!

She had ovarian cancer and had to get all her womenly parts out. She had NO hormones! They had to give her fake ones and they made her crazier than ever!

It also could be this thing called mid- life crisis I've known many many parents who go through this because of:

    -Stress

-They think they're so old (they think there life is almost up but its not! Especially women)

    -Lack of money

    - Getting fired

    - Your dad could be giving her grief

Like I said it could be so many things. Make sure your EXTRA helpful to her right now, rub her feet, help clean-up! Then ask her when the time is right. Explain to her your very concerned you love her and maybe it would help to get things off her chest.

    Good luck honey!!!

  6. Did something happen at her job? Did she see something horrible on the way home from work or shopping?

Tell her you're worried about her and that seeing her cry is really bothering you.

  7. Could be she

s starting menopause. Is your Dad around? Talk to another trusting adult about your concerns. She could also be depressed. YOu shouldn't have to deal with her crying all the time. She needs to get some help if it's depression, or menopause. There;s medicine that can help. Maybe it's something else, so try and find another adult that you both know and trust, that could intervene. I'm glad you care so much about your Mom.

  8. It sounds like it could be depression. Or is maybe something she just doesn't want to share with you.

You're best bet is to sit down with her at the kitchen table and let her know that you are worried about her. Ask her what she is feeling and if you can help in any way.
