Question:

My mom has glaucoma in 1 of her eyes could it move to her other eye too she is blind in the eye w/ glaucoma?

her eye that doesnt hav glaucoma is bloodshot and she couldnt put her contact lense in this morning

  1. First off, I am sorry to hear about your mom, I know firsthand how much glaucoma can suck, I've had it since I was born.

    While there are cases of glaucoma being unilateral (only in one eye), it does put her at increased risk of developing it in the other as well.  

    She should be under the care of a opthalmologist/glaucoma specialist, and regularly have her eyes examined (pressure checked, visual fields etc), so that if it does spring up she can catch it early, treat it, and prevent any more damage from occuring.
