  1. doctors can't tell if you've had s*x-

if your hymen is broken is may be using tampons.

    so, no... dont worry!

  2. Doctors cant tell if u have had s*x or not bcuz ur hymen could have broken by horseback riding, strectiong, biking etc.

  3. the Dr can see if your hymen is broken or not..  but that's not really and indication of if you've had s*x or not.  Most active girls have broken their hymen already just playing sports, riding bike, horseback riding, etc.

Im not sure, since you're under 18, but I dont think the Dr can tell your mom something that personal anyways.  If you had a disease or you told him something very serious (such as you admit to cutting yourself or something like that) then he may be obligated to tell your parents.

Your mom maybe trying to get you to admit to having s*x by using some scare tactic.

  4. Of course they can freakin tell if you're not a virgin..., if you're hymen is broken!!!(I was reading one comment) Anyways.., but even if one's hymen is broken, it does not neccesarily mean that you've had intercourse. Some female's hymen's are located at different places (lower than others) and some women break theirs simply by inserting a tampon..., so techically a doctor can"t determine if you've had s*x. Anyways, I think you have to be 18 for a doctor to keep confidential the medical information they obtain on you, otherwise your parents are able to have access to that.

  5. A doctor can usually tell whether a woman has lost her virginity, it's whether or not your hymen is intact, most of the time.  It's not as easy to break the hymen during other activities as one might like to think.  Doctors have a doctor-patient confidentiality that they must maintain.  You should ask that your mother not be in the room when you are examined and tell him that you don't want your mother to know.  But keep in mind that if the doctor tells her that you don't want her to know she will probably leap to the conclusion that you are not a virgin.

  6. Wrong, a doctor CANNOT tell if you've had s*x or not.

simply because every girl's v****a is different, in size

she might just be telling you this to scare you, to say "don't have s*x because i will find out" and making a lie to make you think she really can by the doctor seeing you.

    so don't worry!

    and always use protection!

    goodluck!

  7. From what I know, a doctor can't tell if you're a virgin or not. That's just ridiculous. It doesn't matter if you are a guy or a girl, you just can't.

  8. The doctor can't tell if you've had s*x. Yes, your hymen may be broken, but that could be because of strenuous activity or inserting tampons.

    Plus, there's always patient-doctor confidentiality.

  9. Yes a medical professional, especially a gynecologist, will be able to tell if you are a virgin or not. I also think that the medical professional will be able to tell your mother becuase you are a minor and she has legal control over you.

  10. Unless you're living in some really backward nation, the answer is No. Doctors in the civilized world don't do "virginity checks" on young women anymore. It's not their job to satisfy the curiosity of parents or fiances. They want to make sure the equipment is in good working order, not establish whether it's ever been used.

The hymen is not a reliable indicator of virginity. There are pregnant women out there who are certainly not virgins, but still have their hymens.

Basically, the only way a doctor can tell if you've had actual intercourse is if you have it right before the office visit. If you're pregnant or have a sexually transmitted disease, the cat will definitely be out of the bag, but otherwise the pelvic exam is not going to yield conclusive evidence that you aren't a virgin.

  11. The doctor can't tell if you've had s*x, but they can tell if the hymen is still intact (which it shouldn't be if you've had s*x).  I don't know about the doctor discussing that with your mother, guess it depends on your age and situation.

  13. A doctor can tell if you've had your hymen broken, and she can tell your parents without your permission,if you are a minor.Your hymen can be broken from other things ,like injuries or from playing around, like fingering or from using tampons. If the exam is done withing 24 hours after s*x, s***n will show up in the exam,if there looking for that.
