My mom hasent taken my dog to the vet really...?

I keep telling her to go but she says hes healthy, and i just want him to take a check up, she keeps forgetting.. grr... makes me mad! how can I get her to take my dog to the vet

Well, it would probably be fairly difficult to convince your mother to take the dog to the vet if she doesn't want to.

However, depending on your age, you could get a job and take the dog to the vet yourself. That would be the right thing to do, for the dog. If it were me, that's what I would do.

If he hasn't been to the vet in 3 years, he is behind on shots and definitely needs a checkup.  Can you make the appointment for her?

Is he due for vaccinations?   If money is the problem--If you have money of your own, offer to pay for the vet visit or  whatever you can.    If he needs vaccines, tell your mom if he bites someone and is not rabies vaccinated, she could get sued & your dog can be taken away.

Just state the facts, like he is getting older, and he needs a check up. Bug the c**p out of her and she might give in.
