  1. your stupid, just tell your mom to take the photos

it will be at your advantage you know

plus, right now with the economy, people will charge a high price for anything.

have you seen how much they charge, just stick with your mom

  2. Why would it be okay

  3. hmm. yeah give her a chance:)im sure she takes good pictures:) annnd...well its FREE:):) woo hoo ehhe

  4. I think it would be great......which would you prefer?

  5. Why wouldn't it be ok? Is she an amateur or professional? Even if she's an amateur, as long as she has good equipment and is what we call a "gifted" amateur (someone who's good enough to be a pro, but doesn't make a living at it), it should be fine. She knows you best, and the price will be right ;<)

  6. If you think your mom's and good photographer and she'll let you pick the best one then it should work out fairly well. Unfortunately, if problems come up it might be because of personal opinion on the photo's, make-up or poses, etc. and these will have to do with your mom knowing its for you, not her and that you can get creative. Also it might help if you pay her a small amount of money, or maybe take her out for dinner or something after so you can both feel more professional. I think this would also help her see the importance in it for you. Good luck!

  7. what do you think seriously

  8. its up to u.

it really depends on what the pics are for!

  9. I would have ur mom take them!!

  10. If you think your mom is good at it than why not its free and you get ur pictures

  11. If she's good then do it! I had a friend who's mom took pictures (like at the mall) and her pictures of him were TERRIBLE. So make sure you use light makeup and your hair is current to the photo you're going to use. Keep it in black and white for acting (usually black in white makes you look more star like than color in my opinion) Look through magazines and on the internet at headshots. A lot of the stars have headshots check ebay. After you've decided on some poses make sure your mom understands what it is you're going for. Make sure it looks natural and not staged or "trying" and then you're off.

Most places don't care if you have a snapshot or headshot if they think you're good, so don't let people tell you to keep paying to get more shots. They'll take your photos but if i were you i'd ask friends and even people you DON'T KNOW (like stop them in the mall) and get their feedback on the pictures that look good and then narrow that down to which picture pose you should use. Oh watch America's Next Top Model to for tips and listen to Tyra's feedback when they're in elimination processes.

hope that helps (I'm an actor and i've taken my own pictures instead of the agency and i'm on tv now so.. Good Luck)
