Tell your friends mom.  After all, she'd have to sign the papers later and go to court.

If that can't happen, just ignore whatever she says and/or report her for neglect and/or abusing.

your mom can however sign over

guardianship of you to your friends mom

i did this when i was 13 now i have been adopted by them and im away from my mom forever.

Find someone, whos an adult, you can talk to and address how you feel. Maybe a school teacher or a coach. It's good to have someone you can trust =)

Try to find another solution before making those tough decisions.

If it gets to the extreme where she physically abuse you, just call 911. Wish you the bests.

I'm assuming you're a minor - which means you can't put yourself up for adoption. If you're serious, you can call child protective services in your state or the police. They will take you into state custody where you may eventually be allowed to be adopted by your friend's mother.

The easier way to do this would be to have both your mother and your friend's mother agree that you will live with your friend's mother. She can be your legal guardian if both agree.

Have you talked to anyone. I would then figure out how to get somewhere that is serious.Tell them if you are not allowed to live with your mom you would like to live with your friends mom.

Your mother would first have to be declared unfit to parent or voluntarily relinquish her parental rights to you. Even if that happened you'd likely end up in the Foster Care system unless you had other family members willing to take care of you.

Find a school counselor or other trusted adult to talk to and determine if your mom is actually abusing you or if she is just being a firm parent? There's a big difference.

you can't do that.  If the state determines that your mother is unfit you would become property (so to speak) of the state, and either go to a family member or a foster home.  Some random person can not adopt you.

I promise you don't want to be adopted.  You would give up your rights as an adoptee (there's a demonstration going on in a couple months to hopefully help adoptees get their rights back!).  How about a legal guardianship instead?  Get in contact with your local DHS and see what they would recommend.

You cant just pick up papers, and have your friends adopt you.  That would be a VERY long and EXPENSIVE process for everybody.  You do your friends parents know this?
