Short for my age I mean... =/

Not like I'm hyper self conscious about it, but it doesn't make sense to me... Where do I get the shortness gene (I realize your height is made up of a bunch of genes, but did I miss all the ones that would make me tall?)

  1. I wondered the same thing since my parents were both 5'10" and I"m 5'3". until I saw my grandma. she's shorter than me ;) it's probably not from your parents, but from another relative. look at the rest of your family. I'm sure you'll see your answer.

  2. You may have just missed out on some of the genes from your perants all though if you have small grandparents, aunties uncles etc, that may be why but also if you are still young and growing that maybe why, I used to be small-average height and then I just shot up as I got older now I am as tall as my perants and expected to be taller, I am 13 and already about 5'6-5'7.

  3. You very well may have simply missed the tall genes...do you have petite aunts/uncles/grandparents?  If so, there's your short genes right there.

  4. average hight is 5'3 for an adult woman fyi

    and, hello, growing still :P
