  1. are u serious

  2. I would not try to put more than $1 per outfit depending on what it is and what brand it is...if it is something lavish like a little suit or something i would put more on it...

If you do not get what you want for them you could always try consignment shops....that's what I ended up doing because i couldn't even get rid of brand new items with the tag still on them for $1...For me, it seemed like when i had a boy - everyone else had girls...it was difficult to get rid of the stuff for a fair price...so I found a consignment store that primarily specialized in baby and toddler items...i did much better going that route (even with toys and such)! From that point on, if i ever had baby/toddler stuff to get rid of (if I didn't know someone who needed it) then I took it to the consignment store instead of trying to yard sale it myself! I made a lot more money off of it this way as well! Good Luck!

  3. agree with everyone else, no more than $1. Don't be surprised if you still get haggled :D

  4. Onesies won't fetch much. I'd put them in zip bags by size for those (newborn, 3 months etc..) and price them at 1.50 - $3 a bag depending how many onesies you have.

For pants, shorts, over all type pants I'd probably ask $1 each

for regular shirts, sweaters I'd go .50 for a shirt and $1 for a sweater.

Jackets I'd ask $5 for each, each.

Hats, socks and accessories are not going to get much at a yard sale. I'd probably put all the socks you have together and mark it 1.00 for the whole bag.  I'd put any little hats together in a zip bag as well and do the same thing, $1.00 for the entire bag.

Shoes you could probably get $1.00 a pair if they are in nice condition and without dirt or wear. Put them in little zip bags, sealed, for each pair to keep them from getting separated or lost.

Any entire outfits or dress up outfits you have you could probably go about $2-3 each.

As far as gear goes, do NOT resell a car seat. They won't sell and people are leary of buying used car seats because of the history of them and they can wear out and be unsafe if even they don't look it.   If you have baby tubs, same thing but it's a hygiene issue then with people and who'd want a used tub? ick.

Now, strollers, snugglies, back pack carriers or pack and plays that you plan to sell should be priced accordingly.

    Swings       $10

Strollers      $20-$25 if they are in good condition, clean and a good brand.

Pack and plays    $25  if clean and all the parts are there.Setting it up will sell it easier

    Snugglies    $3

Back Pack Carriers   $20 (if you sell one of these someone will snatch it at that price!  They aren't cheap new!)

  5. No more then 50 cents. Youll sell more if there less and youll utimately make more.

  6. Depending on how bad you want to get rid of them you go anywhere from 50 cents to $1, $1.50 an outfit. Myself I price things lower then I know I could get cause Id rather get rid of them then pack it all back up again, I would price an outfit at 50 cents  or even 75 cents and onesies at 10 cents to 25 cents.

  7. I agree with everyone else...no more than 50cents and be prepared for people trying to bargain down to 25cents or less.  People go to yard sales because they are looking for REALLY good deals OR because they cannot afford much.

  8. it just depends how you are going to sell them.

seperates i would sell for no more than 50 cents.

outfits depending on brand and condition anywhere from a dollar to 3bucks.

in the end youll sell more f you go less and like another already stated..what you havnt sold..give to charity for a tax deduction at the end of the year.

  9. Premium brands in great condition, like Oshkosh, may fetch more.  As a yard sale veteran on both sides of the deal, I recommend you price the stuff a little high and allow yourself to be bargained down.  If things aren't moving as the day goes on, price them down.  At the end of the sale, take anything that's left over, give it to Goodwill, or Salvation Army store, and take a charitable tax deduction.

  10. yard sales are to get rid of stuff, not to make money. everything IMO, should be under 1$ unless they are decent complete outfits or nice coats or such.

  11. I go to a community yard sale where I live once a month and the going rate for baby clothes is 25 to 50 cents per piece or outfit. If you have something new with tags still on it, you might be able to get $1.
