My mom is having quadruplets!?

Question

I have been an only child for 13 years, and my parents always wanted more children, well right now my mom is 7 months pregnant with quadruplets! i am excited out of my mind, but as the due date draws closer, i am geting more and more nervous.

its 2 boys and 2 girls.

my friends are really helpful and as well are very jelous. they cant wait to help out.

but how will my life change. i am so used to attention, and now what will happen.

how could i help out as well. any suggestions from people with multiples.

my parents want me to choose some of the names.

i like isabella and sofia and ava and stephanie. im not sure

any suggestions with middle names too

i also like christopher,

micheal

and thomas.

i am sooo excited but am not sure wat to expect.

any suggestions and advice are really appreciated.

I had a new brother at you same age too, but he was a monoplet. For me, a new brother didn't really change my life or anything drastic, maybe because I also have an older brother. Not sure how it will be with quadruplets, but I'm guessing they'll be getting at least 90% of the attention. You'll just have to help your parents out, and start being the big sister. I'm sure you'll get used to it.

first, you have been the only kid for 13 years, and neither of the quadruplets can even have the chance like you do.you are the lucky one.

second you now have the chance to be 'not the only child'. it's also amazing,right?

Well congrats big sister! I was the baby for a long time and my mom descided to adopted 5 kids and i was mad cause i wanted all the attention. But you know it was fun cause i got to help my parents raise them. Your mom will need all of your help right now. You will love it. It is time to give your parents attention like they did to you and you can teach your brothers and sister all the neat trick you learned growing up.

you had 13 years as an only child, which is a better run than most people get. you shouldn't be worried about not getting attention, you're technically a teenager. babies are a lot of work, just be helpful. Expect lots of crying and no sleep for either of your parents. also expect fun times and lots of love. As far as the names, personally I would choose less trendy/common names but thats up to you. good luck!

Let me start off by saying ... you will still get attention. You are the big sister of Quads!! How cool is that! You'll be leaving the "nest" soon and they will ALWAYS look up to you.

As far as what to expect... CHAOS! Hopefully, your parents are expecting this, too. At least for a lil' while. This may even make your parents more aware of your need for indepence and trust you more as a teen. More Freedom!

The names are great, however I personally would make them more unique.. cause they are UNIQUE!! Oh, nothing rhyming or same letter thing!! ;0)

Your parents'll probably begin to expect more out of you - they'll have their hands full and probably expect you to be the perfect child (if you aren't already). They might expect you to be an extra set of eyes. Hopefully you're not one of those people that crave attention and are easily bitten by the green eyed monster.. Good luck! And congrats :)
