My mom is moving to Ohio with some guy ,and the guy was in jail.... with should i do?

Well she is a grown woman, who can make her own decisions.

My mom has done this before and all you can really do is trust your mom that she is making a good decision. Keep in contact with her everyday. What was the guy in jail for?

She is yoru mother and an adult, this means that you can't stop or control her actions.  You can talk to her like a reasonable adult and give her advice and reasons why you don't think this is the most sound decision but in the end all you can do it support her no matter what  choice she makes.  Oh and also if your mother is going through something, mid-life crisis, menopause, etc. these might be the things you actually want to confront and help.

Do you have a dad that you could go live with or another relative? I wouldn`t want to go with them either, as you will not have a stable home life, because no one will want to hire him since he has a police record. I do not understand why your mom would want to be with someone that has been in jail.

You didn't say enough..........In jail for what? (some people go to jail over a parking ticket) Did he serve his time/pay his dues to society? Do you feel threatened by him, or just not like him? Does he and/or your mom do drugs or anything else that could affect you? How old are you?

Just saying he has been in jail isn't enough.

idk ...depending on what he did to get in jail - is what I would be most concerned about.

I know lots of people that have been in jail for non violent type crimes, ect...and they are good people that just had a few problems- you just need to find out what kind his might have been and go from there. Most jails and prisons have websites that you can look him up on...check him out.

Was he just in jail or prison?  Big difference!  Find out what it was he did, where he was and how long.  Do a finders search on him on the computer or find a friend who can do it for you.  I think it cost like $10.  I've never had to use it but others have.  Find out what this guy is about.  If your Mom is IN LOVE, don't think there's going to be much you'll be able to do.  I would find out all I could about this guy then make your decision or let your Mom know.  Women can make some really wrong choices when they "think" they're in love.  Good luck!
