  1. Do what I'm going to do. My godmother turned 50 on Wednesday, on Monday I'm hosting a dinner for her with my parents and grandfather. But's it not a surprise.

I'll cook some pasta. And make a dessert that I've never made before. Then after dinner we'll give her gifts and and then maybe go to dessert. I'm in charge of the whole thing, but I don't know what to do for a hotel or some kind of catering service. Dinner is all I'm able to say.

  2. the best thing you can do is just take her out to eat to a place that she has never bin to before she will love it

  3. **When I threw my mum a surprise 50th birthday I got the help of two of my aunties who organised for the immediate family to be invited, then we booked a table for about 30 people at a local pub.

No one brought any presents, they just paid for their own meals.  My auntie made a cake and I had the task of getting my mum to the pub without her questioning why!

I think as long as you keep it nice and easy it shouldn't be a problem.  Try and get another family member to help you because that was a huge help for me.**

  4. wel what does she like? you are her child!
