It's probably a garbage bag full of old docs, and she wants to take them somewhere reputable for shredding, preferably where she can watch them be shredded. Any thoughts? I live out of state and have no idea where to send her.

  1. The best and cheapest way is to buy a croscut shreder - under $100 at Office Depot type places.    There is also a good co for this called Document Destruction Service in Homer GA (770) 287-9605 http://www.ddsga.com  but for that amount of documents a commercial destruction firm may not be practical.  Of course if she has or has a friend who has an outdoor BBQ grill or a inside fireplace that is the surest destruction of all and the cheapest.

  2. I'd try the local UPS store or any of those pack and ship mailbox type stores.  Kinkos too.

But for one small bag of documents I'd either buy a small shredder or cut them up myself.
