She is 80 and afraid to cash it because it is not the regular amount she gets on the 3rd of the month.

  1. Call your local SS office . This is probably some kind of scam.

  2. 1. INS normally="immigration & Naturalizashun Servis"

I kant imajin em send munee tu NE-1.  Em alwaes want munee.

    2. SS pae same number $ 12 months.

    3. If sumthang speshal such as the resent "rebate", em send letter first tu tell yu yu gonna get $.

    4. Chek that it is a reel chek, not sum fony with a name deliberately dezined tu look like SS wen it is not.

    5. Exakt 200$ dont seem natural.  Yuzyally get 202$ or 198$

    6. Kan tri tu find a SS offis & sho it tu sumwon.

  3. The INS immigration of neutralization service was ended in 2003 and was named homeland security department. I worked for the INS during that change. So the check is bogus, do not cash it.
