ok so my mom has this guy "friend" who she spends all her free time with and pretty much just ignores me and my sister and she says that I am being rude to him and that I am being a bi*** just because I don't talk to him but he doesn't talk to me either unless it's to say something rude to me. Plus he almost broke my cell phone tonight. Am I really being rude like my mom says I am or do I have a right to basically give him the cold shoulder since he is so rude/mean to me?

  1. h**l yeah u have every right to treat him the way he treats u! U should tell ur mom "nicely" how u feel. If she sees that it really bothers u...she'll do something about it.

  2. You have every right to do what you want.

  3. it sounds like u do have the right but u should also tell ur mom that he is rude to you.  but try to be nice so u wont get grounded or something.

  4. i think u should be nice to him to make life easier and so u wouldnt get grounded

  5. Try not to complicate your mom's life more than it already is.

Sometimes you just have to suck it up, change what you can and forget about what you can't change.

You'll feel better inside just knowing that you are a nice person.

  6. Wow.Your mom sounds pretty shady.I can't stand it when people do that.

Although you might be tempted to be rude, bite your tongue! If he says something rude, ignore him and leave the room.Vent it in a journal or something.

Your mom should defiantly split her free time between her children and her "friend".Children ALWAYS come first.I would sit her down and talk with her when her "friend" is not around and let her know how you feel.

  7. I think your mom should take your side if the guy is being a jerk! You shouldn't have to put up with his rudeness.

  8. Just try talking to your mom about it.

Explain what he does that is rude to you.

    maybe she will understand.

  9. only speak if you're spoken to.

tell your mom that if that guy wants respect... he needs to show you some too!

i hate moms like that! mine was just like that when i was younger.

dont let him walk all over you. confront him. or it will get worse.

  10. I have a suspicion that the "friend" may not be that rude, but maybe your perception of it is off.  Try giving him a chance!

It's not polite or nice to give anyone the cold shoulder.  I bet if you start being nice, things will go much better between the two of you.

  11. You can think and feel whatever you want. You don't have to like this guy. But maybe for your mums sake you could try being a little more respectful? Thats probably what she means.

  12. " You started it."

    "No you started it."

    " You started it."

    "No you started it."

    " You started it."

    "No you started it."

    " You started it."

    "No you started it."

    " You started it."

    "No you started it."

You get the idea, so how are you going to finish it the best way is to agree to try and start again.
