My mom took my cell phone?

and she says she'll give it back when she's convinced I've changed and after talking to my dad about it. She took it because I got in a lot of trouble for things that aren't even my fault! I need it back soon because I really need to know if my boyfriend called me and I need to talk to him. I knew where she hid it at first but for some reason she changed the spot now. I need it back! Should I ask my dad to tell her to give it back to me? My dad is nice, he would do that for me.

This guy sure sounds like a winner.  What do you mean you can't call him?  He won't give you his number?  He won't be there and you can't leave a message?  Sounds like you're going to have to find some way to get him a note so he knows you're not ignoring him.

And you're going to have to either convince your mom that the situation truly wasn't your fault.  Or you'll have to take your punishment and hope to get your cell phone back at the end of it.

Poor little Princess is having to pay the consequences for her wrong doing.  Some how I think Dad isn't going to go for your poor me acting just to talk to the even poorer bf who "might" have called.  Suck it up and take the punishment you deserve, girl.

how about picking up the land line phone and calling him that way????

Use the house phone. It was what we all used before everyone had cell phones.
