  1. hey i am also 15 and want to become a model! i know that modeling agencies look for women between 5'7 and 5'10 but hey you can give it a shot! I am also afraid to try out for fear of being shot down. I know that ford modeling agencies is very popular

  2. ummm...is this the teenage forum or PREGNANCY forum??  perhaps i missed it but r u pregnant??

  3. I cant help with any of the technical stuff, but I say go for it or you will always wonder what could have been. GOOD LUCK :)

  4. Try New Face Models You Put Your Pic Up An Adgents Look For You!

  5. I know models generally have to be tall, plus size or not and in the modeling world 5'7" is considered short. Also, if you are uncomfortable with yourself, others will be able to sense that, especially in modeling agencies. You do not have to be gorgeous to be a model, in fact most models are not what most would consider "attractive." Regardless, you have to have confidence, if you want it, and think you can do it, then do it.

  6. Tell your mom you don't feel like doing it. Stage parents like that who push their children into something potentially harmful to the child's health are often trying to re-live their missed youth opportunities through their kids. Not fun for the children of these people!

  7. just do what your heart tells you to..

and you seem to have a nice body, dont worry no one feels comfortable with their own body....even if they are..Give it a try

  8. You would be a plus sized model.  Not because your fat, but because your not rail thin.  If you dont think you'll do good then I would not go for it.  It could lead to self image problems such as eating disorders because you might feel that your not good enough or that your too fat (which your not fat at all).  I think you should just find something else that you will enjoy, and that wont put stress on your life.

  9. Don't try modeling b/c u already doubt yourself

  10. Your mother wants to put you in modeling? I want to slap her.

  11. You gotta be FIERCE. Be a strong woman. Just have some hopes

  12. Plus size agencies go by clothing size...but I'm not sure what it is for teenagers. I think that if you want to do it, then you should. Just beware that any time anyone enters into that industry, it is guaranteed that they will be rejected, a lot. So, if you can deal with that and realize that you have to just keep trying, then you should go for it! If we don't do the things that we have passion for in life, we will regret it if we don't even try to achieve it.

  13. Idk it sounds a little edgy maybe plus sized is good

  14. i think you would be just find you might be plus size but who know but i think any one could model if they wanted it

  15. Do you want to be a model? your 15, take a pen and note book, start writing down what you would like in your future. Then go after your dreams. Mom had hers when she was 15 now its your turn. Do some research. Remember you only have one life, invest in what you love to do.

  16. never do nothing you don't want to.

  17. First of all i bet you are beautiful in more ways than you can see. Everyone is different and just because you weigh a certain weight and are a certain height does not mean that you arent pretty. If you want to do modeling then give it a shot. If its something you love then it may be worth taking the risk. The business is very hard and if you do get turned down its not always because you aren't a good model it may just not be what the specific director is looking for. Know that you can do anything and if you want to try this then take a shot at it. If you really arent interested then don't let your mom force you to do anything you dont want to. You are beautiful. remember that :) i mean it with all my heart.

  18. that would be an easier question to answer if you provided pictures of yourself.

on second thought, maybe em bee is right... sorry

  19. People that model their bodies tend to be some of the most self conscious.

Try it, whats the worst that could happen, a little word bruising, which even if its negative, take their advice and do what you need to look better.

If you want to model, try going for it.

Its a rough life though, I've got 2 friends that do it, it is really stressful, don't overwork yourself trying to get too much out of it

  20. Im 5"10 and 222 lol im the fat one here =P.

  21. I think you would be plus sized, but I'm not sure. Alot of people cannot answer this question though without seeing what you look like.

  22. Modeling is a hard thing to get into but it doesn't matter what size you are. Take chances because you may never know what this may come to. The modeling courses will help you build self confidence. Try and see how you feel quite if you dont like it but try because you dont want to go wait i wish i had tried that

  23. To be frank, you are not tall enough to be a professional model. The absolute shortest pro's are 5'7, and that's RARE.

What about acting? Can you act?

BTW, a true plus-size model is still just as tall as any other model and they are typically a perfect size 12-14. They also have to be fit and curvy all at the same time. I don't know if you'd even be in that size, I'm sure you're smaller than that.

I'm sorry you just aren't tall enough?

  24. she's right

  25. wait till your 18 and look in to the adult industry way more money and they take just about any one

  26. Yes,at that weight & height you would be considered a plus size model. You probably have a better chance in this arena than in the normal one. Good luck!

  27. yes... you would be plus size

what they look for in plus size models is proportions...

u can call a plus size agency and get measurements

being your 5'5 i dont think you have a chance...

maybe some local stuff but thats about it... sorry
