...until she drove home. We put the bird(which had feathers all over...)into a cardboard box with a small towel on top of a bunch of napkins for a padding and to keep it warm and put it in my room with the lights dimmed. Please give me any numbers to a place that can take care of this. The bird is smaller than... an adult crow... but bigger than an adult hummingbird... gray... and im pretty sure it can't fly. It doesn't appear to be injured in any way though... Please give me ANY advice about what to do.

  1. could be a parrot does it have a red tail or a pigeon call animal control they can help you

  2. Look in your local yellow pages for Wildlfe Rehabilitators and give em a call. Also, please wash your hands after handling anything that has been in contact with the bird, u really don't know why it's acting strangely. In the meantime. maybe try to put a very small bowl of water in there for it and maybe a torn up piece of bread in case it gets hungry.

  3. I agree with everyone else...maybe put some sticks in the box too...maybe it will feel more at home (wash them off first) also, maybe wild bird seeds might be nice too, if it's not too expensive. good luck

  4. obviously it can fly if itflew into the car.... call animal control in your state

  5. You've done a good job so far. There's a good regional list at http://www.tc.umn.edu/~devo0028/contact.... that will help you find a wildlife rehabilitator near you.
