  1. yes

    that's abuse.

he can do time for it, but probably not much.

not more than 10 years, probably 2-5.

also if he have any past criminal records it will probably be longer or he will be put on probation or house arrest once he gets out.

and if he's under the age of 18 his sentence probably wont be to harsh.

  2. depends, if your mom was trying to get in the car to assault him, and he was afraid and drove off, then no nothing will happen to him. I am sure the police report will reflect what happened.

  3. Just curious, how did he drag her? tie her up or something?

    I hope he does though.

  4. IF HE IS CONVICTED he will be gone for a couple of years, but your main concerned is evidence. You said it was your EX-boyfriend. DO YOU HAVE witnesses who can collaborate your statement? Even if he is involved with domestic violence and intimidation in the past is not relevant to the case of your mom. Can your witness stand in court to verify the veracity of his/her statement? If you got  no witnesses then you got no case, even if you know too well your EX-boyfriend behaviour it is not enough to bring him to court for the automobile incident.

You must link your boyfriend to the vehicular accident of your mom, doing it is not going to be easy. It is like building a JIGSAW PUZZLE, your EX will have his defense alibi too, he will probably say he is in Idaho or in Kansas when that incident happen. So how can you dismantle his alibi with enough concrete evidence of your own?

  5. He d**n well BETTER be going to jail. ESPECIALLY if he's already been in court for domestic violence. There's no excuse for his behavior.

I'm glad your mom is ok.
