My mom was hit by a Fire Dept employee at a cross walk what's her options?

she was NOT injured, just knocked off her bike. What are her legal rights?

  1. If she wasn't hurt, there is nothing to be upset about.  If she was crossing the street when a fire truck, with lights and siren was going through, she was in the wrong.  If she is going to sue, she will have to prove damages.


  2. If the Fire Department employee was responding to a call, and had lights and sirens going, she has no options. Otherewise, if he/she was on duty, file a complaint with the city.

  3. Any damages to the bike?

    Otherwise nothing in terms of monetary...you could file a complaint with the city though.
