My mom was stung by 6 Burrower bees, how long should we wait for a reaction to occur?

She called her doctor and got Vicodin for the pain, but we want to know how long I should stay with her and keep an eye on her. We assume they were burrower bees because they were in the ground, and she disturbed them.

If she hasnt had a reaction in the first 30 minutes she ok as far a seriousness, but if she still reacting at the sight she should go and get a Depo Medrol shot.(as long as shes does not have diabetes)
