My mom washed her cell phone in the washing machine!?

on accident and it didnt work. but then we let it dry out for a week cuz we went on vacation and when we got back it worked! it would turn on and call and she received texts and sent texts. that was last night and this morning it wouldnt work after being charged. what should we do. should we buy a new one? where? how much would it cost? its a spring katana
