  1. well maybe your just a total freak not unique? no, i'm just kidding. tell her that she's denying u and who u want to be. have u been to hot topic?

  2. just tell her that mom i dont want to be normal..i want to be differrent than everyone else.. and just tell her straight out..maybe theres a reasonable explanation to this...

  3. you want to be unique just like everyone else obviously you only want attention otherwise clothes and hair would not have been brought up stop posing seriously

  4. Oh my gosh. I feel bad for you D:

SHE'S BEING STUPID! I hate friggin hollister and abercrombie.

Every single person at school is a prep. No one is unique. Which really sucks. Ask your mom why she wants you to shop there. It's not like you decide where she shops, or anything. & explain to her why you want to be unique, and different...don't just say it. EXPLAIN! REASON WITH HER! Haha, sorry it's kinda bad advice. I dont really know what to say to this question x__x

  5. My mother was (and still is somewhat) very concerned about people's view of her. She was always very concerned about how people would look at her and judge her if she was seen with me. Slowly introduce yourself more and more. Such as in the way of hairdye, dye your hair blonde first (I did), then I moved onto other colours, (I now have pink hair). I was not allowed to have piercings, but I started with obscure ear piercings, and I now have many facial piercings. So just try and bring yourself out little by little, instead of springing it on her and worrying her self-concious, self-absorbed ego.

  6. Calmly explain to her that by conforming you to be a "normal teen" you just as maybe encouraging to be like everyone else and have s*x, do drugs, and pop out babies. I also suggest that you throw in if she tries the whole "you have your own mind" thing that, I" must not if you refuse to let me use it and make simple decisions like what to wear?" Hope it all works out

  7. Are you a good student? Are you trustworthy and respectful? If so, you should think about sitting down with her and explaining that you just want to express your individuality and that you will still be the same person and still do your best as long as you don't plan to go "freak show" or anything.

Personally, I didn't allow my kids to dye their hair until they were at least in high school as I wanted them to focus on school work and friends in middle school and not too much emphasis on worrying about makeup, hair color or wild clothes. Hope it all works out!

  8. Ask ur mom where u came from and when she does say "Thank you u proved my point"  tell her that u didnt come from a factory where everyone is made the same instead u came into this world with one goal in mind to b urself in ur own way not ur mothers.  My sister is a phycologist and says that dying ones hair is actaully good for a person cuz its a form of xpression of one.   I went blue hair cuz i was a guy always in the gloom.  Shopin at hollister and abercrobie is just a waste of money tell her that everything is xpensive imo ask her is she likes wastin money.
