My mom won't let me get a pug? HELP ME!?

I have two dogs, Zach and Cody, both 1 1/2 years old. An English Bulldog and a German Pointer. I can easily say they are not trained well at all. They can barely sit. The are signed up for obideince classesat Petsmart. I want to get a black pug and name it Bean, but my mom says it is not "financially or logistically" possible. And she won't tell me when she will get me Bean. My guess is never, help me here! I am only ten so be reasonable

well judging by the finacially possible part it means they are too expensive but if you go to kijiji.com you can find a ton of dogs that will melt your heart their so cute and for great prices

Your dogs aren't trained ...and you want to get a third dog?

Train your dogs please before you even consider getting another one. You also need to think about how your current dogs would feel about having another dog in the house.

Have you read up on pugs? Do you know any decent breeders, or what to look for when finding one?

Listen to your mother.

You do not sound at all ready to make this commitment.

Maybe you should work with the other two dogs and complete obedience training with them.

As long as the other two dogs are not under control, I don't think your mom will budge one bit.

Also, three dogs for one household is a lot for most people.  Who's taking care of their grooming, feeding, walking and shots?

Dogs are a huge responsibility.  I have two dogs and they are a handful.  And they are VERY expensive.  I agree with your mom, 3 dogs will be too much.  Try training your current dogs and when you get older you can get your pug. when you get your pug, you should adopt them from a shelter, this way you will be saving their life.

well i think maybe you should give mom a break you have 2 dogs and dogs can be a little expensive food ,vets, training, but i feel for you also cause pugs are so cute and i love the name you picked out also bean its adorable.... but maybe later on when things get a little better mom might say yes... cause right now everything is sky high food, gas, everything is going up so just wait im sure things will get  better ...until then just try and be on your best behavior and help mom around the house as much as you can ... and she will see how responsible you are and im sure before you know it you will get your little pug bean lol ...good luck!

Work with your current dogs please. Give them some care before bringing in another animal to the bad situation. Pugs shed alot and have a lot of health issues. If you don't have the finances for another dog, you especially won't have money for one with a lot of health issues.

Your mommy's right, you have 2 perfectly good dogs that you can't train, what makes you think getting another one would make things any easier?

Why would your mom want another dog if the ones you have aren't even trained?

And if your mom says she can't stretch it financially, I think it's best to leave it at that.

My mom always says "Just wait 10 more years, then you can get all the dogs you want."

I have a black female Pug and I love her to pieces but if I'd know that she would get the health problems from breeding I would have thought twice.

She has a problem when she breaths from having a floppy soft pallet (this happens to alot of them).She has joint problem in her back legs and her eyelids are too large so they roll back in towards her eyeball and her eyelashes scratch at the cornea this needs surgery or she will go blind.

You already have an English Bulldog these guys can have there own fair share of breeding problems.

If I was you I wouldn't do it ...have fun with your other dogs I'm sure they will love you for it.

you should try to train the other dog then she'll see you are responsible and that you can train a third dog
