My mom wont let me buy wii points.?

My mom wont let me use her debet card to buy wii points because she thinks somebody will steal her money and information. She has no problam putting her information on amazon but she wont trust nintendo. How can i convince her its safe.

Actually its much safer on the wii, after all its PC users they target not console users, but wii points cards are an easy alternative just get one of those.

i told my mom it was 5 dollars . After that enjoy the wii point cards until they find out they cost $20

you can either buy a wii points card,  or there is info about security at www.nintendo.com

While you still have the prepaid 2000 Wii Points cards as an option, I can see the convenience with buying direct.

Nintendo & their subsidiaries (Nintendo of America, ect.) use a secured method of performing the transaction.  Second, they don't save your credit card information.  While this can be an inconvenience, it does unauthorized charges.

If your mother is still completely paranoid about using her Debit Card to buy points directly through the Wii Shopping Channel, I would highly suggest that she called Nintendo of America at 1-800-255-3700 during normal business hours (Pacific Time) & talk to a custom service technician about security concerns with the Wii Shopping Channel.

Please be aware that your mother may enact Parental Controls that can restrict your actions online (like buying or using Wii Points directly online)...  so don't push your luck too much.

Buying Wii points is a lot safer than putting your information on any site on a computer (including Amazon).

The Wii doesn't keep track a record of the card number or the billing address, it's just a one-time use in order to get your Wii points.

And unlike computers, there aren't any programs out there that target Wiis for stealing information.

same here ! thats like the exact reason my mom wont let me use her debit ccard. and i really want wii points. ask your dad or give her the money and ask her nicely to use her card that way she dosnt have to use her own money thats what i did aaha
