  1. being emo is lame, so I am glad your mom wont let you

  2. My daughter will be allowed to dress how she likes, have her hair how she likes, as long as it is healthy. I don't think dressing or acting emo is healthy. It is just as bad as dressing S****y in my mind.

  3. Gosh, good for her. No, she's not being unfair. Wait til you are old enough, working, and out on your own, then you can do whatever you like.

For now, just go give her a hug, and tell her thanks for watching out for you - to not follow others like a sheep.

Just get yourself a cute haircut -

  4. Hmm... have u ever asked her why? Seems to me that the color black has more of a significant meaning to her. I'm pretty sure it's not you she's trying to control, it's something deeper than that. I'd say just talk to her. Let her that you are a teenager and it's important to you how you express yourself and isn't that what most parents preach about, to be yourself.

  5. I bet your Mom cares about you and since you are a minor perhaps you should stop whining.  Think about parents that don't care about their children, let them do as they wish including drugs, s*x, etc.  Perhaps you should be happy that someone cares.

  6. lol, I wouldn't let my child have a mullet either.

  7. You are definitely old enough to choose your own haircut.

Go to your mom and say something along the lines of, "Mom, I'm almost 14 and I think that I'm old enough to try and make my own decisions. You have raised me for 13 years, and why don't we have a probation period and see how I do on a longer leash?"

If that doesn't work, sit down with her and look at pictures of haircuts together, show her what you want and try to find one that both of you can deal with.

  8. She's not being unfair, she's trying to keep you from looking like an idiot.  You should be thanking her.

  9. How old r u? And after you reach 12 you should have ur own choice in what you want to waer as long as its not S****y or reveling and not death related

  10. labels are g*y =]

    But wtf at controlling mothers.

Wear whatver the h**l you want, cut your hair how you want it..

  11. as much as I dislike the emo hairstyles, just save up your money and get your hair cut.

It's just hair, it grows back.
