  1. I would be interested in why Mom is saying no.  Are you diabetic?  Does she want you to 'earn' it or whatever?   Mom is Mom and ya gotta listen.  Find out why she is saying no and go from there.   Then again, Mom's can just be weird.  My mom had mine done when I was 7.  Mostly because she was having hers done and didn't want to go alone.  The same woman who brought a scared to death and crying about it seven year old in, called it cannibalism (?!?!) when at 18 I had a double piercing put in.  lol.

  2. She's your mom you have to listen to her

if you go behind her back you might

get it ifected and you dont want that to happen

wait until your 18 and the you can pirece anything

    on your body

  3. if your father is willing to sign the consent form for you ? then there is no problem!

under the law you have to be 16yrs or older to have them pierced without consent. under that age a parent or guardian has to sign it for you

but if your dad signs the form for you!??   you can have them done, legally.

  4. Wait till you're older. Piercings at a very young age can lead to skin deformities.

  5. Go with your Dad.

  6. I didn't pierce mine til I was almost 18

  7. if she says no, ask her what her reasons are and she should provide a legitamate (SP?) answer if not then ask your dad to help you convince your mom

  8. haha i had two on each ear already, and me and my cousin went one day to get our cartillages done.. my mom didnt even know. she was actually fine with it! lol im 13 too, but going in 8th grade. that must suck.. well its up to you.. good luck!

  9. i'm not completely sure why your mom is being stubborn about this. it's completely safe and many infants actually get their ears pierced. i had my ears pierced when i was 6. but i'm allergic to most metals so i had to close them up.  maybe show your mom how responsible you are, and then maybe. wear clip ons if you're desperate.

  10. Well, your dad has said go for it so i reckon you should just get it done. If you dont wana betray your mum just keep begging her!! If you wont get it done without her knowing all you can do in nagnagnag!!

Or...you could use fake magnetic earings! = ]

  11. Just go behind her back and get it done? Or use fake earings.

  12. Just get a friend to do it for you. It's an easy thing to do. Get your earrings you want, then get, an apple slice, an ice cube, and a needle. After you get your supplies, have your friend put the ice cube behind your ear, until it's numb. Then place the apple slice behind your ear, and pierce your ear with the needle. Then stick in the earring, problem solved.

  13. Hey im almost 15 and i havent got my ear pireced it looks stupid when your old and just cause everyone got them means you HAVE to get one does it?

if they all stuck there hand in a fire would you do it? i dont think so

your mom probably regretts getting her piercing

    mine sure does

    learn from her mistakes

  14. whats the prolem with one ear piercing? i had mine when i was 1?!

  15. Sorry, but you'll have to wait it out.  If you pierce them yourself, you may not center them properly, and you can give yourself a nasty infection.  Also, don't go behind your mom's back and go with your dad; it will make things in the family VERY ugly.  Just wait it out; I had to.  I had to wait until I was 18, but even then i couldn't because I was going into boot camp.  Guess what?  I got them done at 22.  The world didn't end.  For now, get some clip ons or magnetic earrings.

Or...what you could do is drop the issue for now.  Be very mature about it, help around the house, keep your grades up and your room clean, and in a few months bring up the subject again.  Don't say "but all my friends are doing it!".  She'll just hear a whiney kid and tune you out.  Tell her that you'll take care of them, and even offer to pay (with Christmas or birthday money, or your allowance if you have one).

    Good luck!

  16. why doesn't she want you to get your ears pierced?i think you are old enough to decide certain things for yourself (not everything) such as putting a tiny hole in your ear.

ear piercings are not permanent.you can take the earring out and for most people the hole will close if you haven't had it pierced for very long.

you could just be an obedient daughter and do as your mother tells you and get your ears pierced when you dont live in her home and take care of yourself.

or be defiant and have your dad take you.then you will both be in trouble and he can back you up.

edit: pick your battles wisely.it may not be worth it to make an issue out of something as small as pierced ears

i didnt get my ears pierced until i was 16 when i paid for it myself.it sucked not being able to wear the earrings i wanted but i had tons of awesome bracelets and necklaces and ear cuffs

  17. ok...not to be rude, but you sound like a spoiled brat...that's probably why she says no.  You act like you having your ears pierced is some kind of "right" and you will just die if you dont get your ears pierced.  Really.....its not that big of a deal.  Maybe she doesn't want you to get EVERYTHING you want...it is bad for your character.

She, unlike you, is an adult, therefor she can have her ears pierced 50 times if she chooses.  Being a kid at 13, almost 14 you really shouldn't expect to get you way all the time.  Respect her decision and start acting more mature, maybe she will change her mind.
