we live on a steep driveway and one of my kids left their bike in the way when she got out to move it she thought that she had put in park and really it was the windsheld wiper switch when she stepped out the car rolled away she fell on the ground the truck then proceeded to go through the brush dodging a few very large trees then struck a medium maple head on......UGHH...... (i've only had my truck 4 months) Thanks MOM!

  1. Your insurance should pay for the damage.. As you are the one that has the insurance for that particular vehicle....

Even if your mother is the one that wreaked it...

    Sorry- and good luck

  2. If you have a loan out and you have full coverage, your insurance will pay.  However, your mother may be charged.  YOu are paying insurance on your truck.  If your policy says, "No other drivers covered."  You are screwed.  My policy says no unmarried drivers under 25.

  3. Insurance is bought for vehicles. (not for drivers)  Your insurance should pay for this,  subject to any collision deductible you may have.  Your Mothers liability insurance is for her car.  Since her car was not involved it has nothing to do with this.

  4. Your mom insurance will not pay for the wreck, liability is only to cover someone else car but it will not cover your car.
