  1. Is she always depressed or do you think she is depressed because your father went away for 4 months?  If its that, she will get over it but needs time to miss him before she can. If she is always depressed she needs to see a dr and get an antidepressant.

You are not responsible for your mom. She is the adult and needs to control her own life and take care of you. You can put your arms around her and tell her you love her but that is about all that you can do. If you think your mom is getting worse then you can call one of her friends and ask them to  help you get her to a dr.

Go out and skateboard. Spend some time with your friends.

  2. I no what your going through both my parents suffer from dispression and I always try to make them feel better but the truth is they will be up and down and just let them no that you care and be extar nice. Which can be hard when there so um just make sure when there extra bad feeling that thers always a trusted realative they can talk

  3. you    can't cure your Mom. You are a kid(sound like one anyway!) Fixing your Mom is not your problem- it's too big for you to handle.

Find a trusted relative, or a good friend. maybe one of the friends your Mom talks to? Tell them you are really worried about your Mom and need some help. Mom needs to see a Dr- theres medicine that would make her feel better. Do this soon, because you need to be a kid .

  4. Depression is mentally disabling at times.  You can lose all track of time and things you have to do.  She has to want to get help or talk about it.  You as her child will suffer as long a she is suffering.  Sometimes it is a chemical thing in the brain and sometimes it is caused by situations.  Just do some research and see what you can do to make things easier for yourself.
