My mommys making me not become a mommy???

hey im 14 and my mom had a lot of problems with her period.. and was later told she wasnt going to be able to have kids. she now has two childern both not planned, but with me not having my period yet im afriad ill be just like her. i really want to be a mother of three when im older, but what if i take after my mom?? tell me will i, and is there any way of knowing i have a problem noww??

All girls get their period at different times. If you are concerned, have a talk with your doctor/pediatrician. The pediatrician can assess your health and give you answers and hopefully let you know if you have any problems or are just a late bloomer. Take care.

I was 15 when I started my period for the first time. I thought I was going to be just like my mom and my sister when it came to having children. I am the exception to all the women in my family. I had a hard time getting pregnant where as my mom and sister didn't. Just because your mom had a hard time having children doesn't mean you will. For now be happy that you haven't gotten your period because once you get it it will you wish you didn't have it. Enjoy being a teenager and don't worry about having children right now.

your way too young to be worried about having children, honestly enjoy your teenage years, make lots and lots of friends, go out to the mall, and enjoy your freedom. You shouldve had a period by now, so you should see your doctor so they can do some tests. Even if you can't have kids naturally, there is always adoption and foster parenting.
