Question:

My moms asking her girlfriend to move in with us...?

She asked me what I thought and I told her I really don't want her to move in with us but she keeps telling me she wants specifics but I don't really know. Theyre constantly breaking up and getting back together and I think it will just be miserable with her living with us. Any advice on what to say or just any general advice? Thanks...

  1. Tell her what you just told us! That is ultimately your reason why you don't want her to move in, so why try to find another one?

Ultimately, it will still be your mother's decision of course, but you will have been honnest about your own feelings.

  2. tell her what you just told us.

your mom needs to have her own life, but not at your expense.   just tell her that if they were more stable that it wouldn't bother you.

    good luck.

  3. because their relationship doesnt seem to be going any where they look like their just trying but...

  4. stay out of it, if your mom wants her to move in and she isn't like hurting you let her move in.

  5. I agree with the other poster, tell her what you just told us.  it sounds like their relationship is a bit rocky; no need to subject you to that on a daily basis.  maybe they should wait to move in together until they are a little more "stable"

  6. You should really tell her what you just told us. Tell her that you're worried about her and her girlfriend breaking up and getting back together. It's not stable, and they'll only end up miserable.

And i do think you should have a 1 on 1 chat with you're mom and really discuss it. You're probably making it harder on you're mom by telling her that you don't want her girlftiend to move in with you guys and she doesn't know why.
