My moms birthday!!?! (what can I do) [GIVING AWAY 10 POINTS]?

my moms birthday is friday the only people she has in her life and me and my dad, my dad is a jerk, and wont help me its like he could care less about her. i need some ideas to make her birthday wonderful!! im 14 for i need cheap ways to make it amazing!

this is what im already doing

1. make a cake

2. get dinner done

3. make a card

Hmmm its hard since you can't drive...maybe give her a card and on the inside write...Free ________ like....free massage.  Then you make it like a little coupon i did that one year my mom loved it.

Any mother would be delighted with all of your plans. Be sure to tell her how much you appreciate her and are glad she is your mom. (She'll be all teary eyed, believe me!) Then tell her you will do a certain chore for her for a period of time. You DON'T  have to spend a lot of money to make her happy.

Go to any clothing/accessories store and I guess you can buy her a pair of earrings or a necklace for her. Buy her some flowers...unless she's allergic to pollen.

3. Homemade voucher/coupon for you to get her 100 cups of tea/coffee

make her a shirt. for my moms 40th birthday me and my sister mad eshirts and wore them. Mine had a biig 4 and hers had a big 0 and on the back of ours it said happy  birthday, the happy was on mine and the birthday was on hers.

some things that i have done are made lik a picture collage and framed it. you could write a poem and put it on the back or just give it to her. also if you do a chore you dont normally do, like if your room is usually a mess or the flower garden needs weeded then do it for her without her asking just to show you appreciate her.

Remember, it is the thought that counts.  You could try decorating the house with streamers, balloons, flowers, and candles.  Be inventive, anything your mom likes, find a way to incorporate it!  Hey, if you have a mirror, write "Happy Birthday Mom" on it with lipstick (be careful, and use cheap lipstick though because this ruins the lipstick tip!).  The message will come off easily with windex and paper towels.  Clean the house, that is cheap, and I am sure will mean a lot to your mom!  You could create like a coupon book, ie. coupons for doing the dishes, laundry, cleaning the house, weeding the garden, taking the trash out, ect.  thinks that you know your mom doesn't really like to do.  I hope this helps!! --Mannus

I think it's great you are getting so many answers and ideas.  If you have any money at all to spend, or any way to get to a store or get your dad to drive you, you could buy her something sweet to wrap up.   It wouldn't have to be big or expensive, but everyone likes to have a gift to open up.  Maybe a journal and a nice pen, or a photo frame with a picture of the two of you.  You could get her a cute necklace or a jewelry box, or a cd of her favorite music.  

You could set up a movie night for her with popcorn and her favorite dvd, or buy a bag of balloons to decorate the house and make it feel festive.

These are my ideas (they work!):

-Scrub down the whole house. Dust what never gets dusted, vacuum where no one dare go, make your place spotless. All moms appreciate this.

- Make her a scrap book of pictures of the two of you, write down the funny little inside jokes and memories you both have.

- buy her flowers (you can get nice ones for not a lot of money, hey you could even go pick some)

- when you make dinner put out a nice table cloth, light candles, use the nice china. It will make it more special.

Then write a human interest story about her and how much she is appreciated in everything she does. Tell of some of the funny moments you remember and site some of her accomplishments. Then have a page that is sort of like grocery store coupons. But your coupons will be things like FREE dishwashing or FREE clothes washing stuff that you can do around the house to help your mom. Then you can have a full page advertisement that has HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! signed with your name.
