My monitor has curves on each side of the screen that just keep getting closer and closer. The guy at Best Buy told me it was dying, so I plan on getting a new one. How do I throw away my old monitor, responsibly?

  1. Send it to a electronics recycling company or search the phone bk for ones in your area, sometimes they are nearby and you just don't know. Do an internet search, they are everywhere.

  2. Lol, this might be kinda weird, but this is what I do:

Leave the monitor right in front of your driveway and someone will be bound to take it thinking it works or trying to fix it.  If they fix it somehow (I doubt it) then congrats to them, but if they dont then they might do something with it or they just might put it back then ur right where u started, lol

  3. Take it to an electronics recycling place - you don't ever throw any small electronics in the garbage - not microwaves, or tvs or monitors or printers or cpu's or anything like that (maybe clocks and cd players are ok) - look in the phone book for "electronics recycling/refurbishing"
