My mother's birth/death certificate?

Can somebody tell me my mother's parents name

my mother's maiden name is Jacquline Gross when she married it changed to Stafford. Her B-day is 9/17/1943, and she died 2/28/1998.

She was born and died in Baltimore, Maryland. 10 points and it would be helpful. =}

I think you have to get your mom a birth certificate in a city hall.  In her birth certificate you can see her parents name.

How in the world would anyone know about your grandparent's name?

Like if you don't know, how would we know?

Get her birth certificate and death certificate from the State of Maryland.  That would be a good place to start.
