It is not a drinking problem, smoking problem,or a family problem,it is a neighbor problem!I live in a duplex and my neighbor lives above me.She is about 60,70 years old and she is Satan on Earth. She is NOT one of the those nice old ladies, she stomps over our heads, blasts her music, lives alone, and causes turmoil. Her family lives in Alabama and she doesn't have kids or a husband. The problem, besides those is that she plays her music all night, every night. We have never did anything to the lady. She's been acting like that since the first day we moved in.My mother wants to call the police on her, what do you think, should we call the police on her or quickly move?

  1. If she plays her music or gets to loud after around 10 or 11 you can call the cops and say shes disturbign you all night you cant sleep and it constantly happens

  3. either one would work.

sitting and doing nothing but complaining will accomplish nothing!!!

  4. No, My mom is Satan

    SRSLY

  5. just  him  to stop

  6. i really think you should go up and talk to her first. keep in mind she may not be doing this to p**s you off. she is old and may not hear well. calling the police is a bad idea not to mention rude.shes a person like everyone else. i think if it bothers you that much, move.

  7. my suggestion is that u call the police and say that she is "disturbing the peace" at ur residence, even though she lives at the same place, u are not together therefore she should respect u guys. don't move just because of a person, deal with it and hopefully things will work out. just call in for a noise complaint often and they'll deal with her, they can fine her after a few times or something like that, she'll get sick of it and hopefully stop all that noise

  8. There should be rules that all of you have to go by. Find them out and if she is breaking them, let the landlord or owner take care of the problem. Why should you move? She needs to obey the rules, period. She needs to learn respect and the longer you allow her to get by with it, the longer she will do it.

Now! Are you doing something that bothers her? Maybe she is doing this in retaliation.
