  1. Read the line at the top of the website that gives the schedule that she is thinking says that she'd get her check in June.  It says that is for people whose returns were PROCESSED BY  4/15.  She only mailed it 4/15, so they didn't even HAVE it yet to process.  She missed the cutoff  so missed this first round - she will probably  get her check in late July or in August.

  2. it's because she wasn't eligible to recieve one. the same happened to me. she didn't make enough last year to do so. but just in case go to www.irsgov to double check.

there will be a number she can call.here check here to be sure she was eligible

  3. She filed too close to april 15th to be included in the first batch, there is a second batch going out now. Does yout mother work or get ss income, if it is the latter those were saved for last and she should get it by the end of august. You can call 1-800 829-0582  ext 726 to speak to a live person, when I  called they told me mine will be deposited by the end of august. When you call be prepared to hold for p to 20 minutes but you will get an answer,

  4. did she work enough hours? .. also, my aunt made too much money and didn't receive one because of that.. maybe that's the case?

  5. Her return was not processed by April 15, so she will receive the payment after the scheduled dates for returns processed before the filing deadline.

  6. She filed way too late to be in the first batch of payments.  Tax returns had to be PROCESSED by the IRS by April 15th to be in the first batch.  For a mailed return that works out to early March and for an e-filed return, early April.

She should receive hers sometime in the next few weeks; the IRS has not announced a formal schedule for the 2nd run of payments so it will likely be "catch as catch can."

  7. just because u filed for it dosent mean its been sent...they are sent by your social security number

  8. Does she owe any outstanding student or government loans or any childsupport to anyone? If not then she may need to contact whoever did her taxes and see what they can tell her.
