My mother is going to make me a quilt out of my old blue jeans. Any idea where we can find a pattern?

try going to the crafts section of walmart, they often have patterns there for not only clothing, but also for quilts, or try buying a quilting magazine.

At a piece goods store. They carry absolutely everything  that has to do with sewing!

You could also try the sewing department at Wal-Mart or a crafts store.

By the way...I love the idea of your mom making the quilt out of your old jeans. It will be a memory book, of sorts (these are the jeans I was wearing when I learned to ride a bike, and this piece is from the pair I was wearing the first time I met Will...etc. Really awesome!)

What is it about the patterns you've seen that you don't like?  Do you want a casual looking quilt or do you want something more formal?  Do you want to include pockets and other features of the jeans?  Most of the denim quilts that you will see are either frayed-edge quilts or quilts that are made of fairly large simply blocks.  Because denim is heavy, it's difficult to make quilt blocks with lots of small pieces -- all the seams make it too heavy. Unless you are using an assortment of different colored denims, these quilts can also be very low contrast which makes any pattern and secondary pattern in the blocks difficult to see.  While it's difficult to mix denim with regular quilter's cotton fabrics, denim can be mixed successfully with flannel and combination denim/flannel quilts can be very pretty.
