Question:

My mother is interfering..?

My mother lives with me, my husband and my son. She's really nosey. Example:

I'm inside my bedroom/office and the phone inside my bedroom rings. She suddenly comes running and knocks at my door to ask who it is and walks in. I answer the phone and it's my husband. He and I start talking and instead of her leaving the room, she sits on my bed and starts hollering out answers at him (cutting me off) and getting involved in the conversation. Is it just me, or is this rude? Or she'll just stand next to me throughout the entire conversation LISTENING..

What the h**l is this lady's problem?

  1. It is extremely rude, but maybe she just wants attention.  You should ask her why she does that and let her know that it bothers you as politely as you can.  I'd leave the what the h**l is your problem bit off.  :)  She probably doesn't realize how annoying it is.  Same goes for other things that she's nosing into, just ask her how she would feel if her mother had done that to her.

If she keeps doing it, lock the door when you're on the phone.
