My mother is starting to get on my nerves!!!!?

My mothers home was robbed in Dec. 2007 , she was living by herself since my father passed in January 2006. I offered to move her in to my home, so that she would not be afraid, I don't ask for rent or anything from her because she has taken great care of me growing up. December 2008 will be a year since she moved in.... and since the beginning she has under-minded my request when it comes to disciplining my children. When I say no to them, she says yes. They have gotten lazy and their grades have dropped since she's moved in. What am I to do with this person, whom I love dearly? She knows I will never put her out.....but at the same time, she's only 59 , shouldn't she want to move and continue to live her life after almost a year? Please help!!!!

well its really necessary that you sit down with your mom and tell her that you cant take your kids getting out of discipline.... and it is important for you.. that their grades are important.. tell her that you know she wants to show her affection as a grand mom but not at the cost of their grades and discipline... good luck...
