Creatinine : 2.3 mg/dl

egFR = 22 ml/min/1.73 m2

whether the problem is in initial stage? expecting valuable guidance

She is diabetic & tyroid disorder:

Tyroid test results:

TSH,T4 & T3

TSH : 0.01 UIU/ml

THYROXINE(T4) : 13.38 ug/dl

T3 : 86.47 ng/dl

Blood Glucose fasting : 74 mg/dl

Blood Glucose post parandial : 244 mg/dl

having knee pain

  1. The kidneys are very vital to good bodily function.  You seem to want to be very involved in her care. Her medical issues are far to complicated for you to depend on this forum for her care.  If you want the best for her, please right down all your questions and concerns and go with her to address them at her next MD appointment.  I applaud you for caring enough to be involved.


  2. The only thing I can understand is the 2 diabetic readings, which are considered normal. Diabetic patients often have kidney problems. The most important factor besides her test results is to make sure she is not in kidney failure, which can be the case if the two probelms are not controlled and seen about by her doctors. A nephrologist is one who treats kidneys and is a specialist.
