My mother lies constantly.....

Question

I am an adult with a family of my own but I have a problem with my mother who lies about any and everything possible. I don't care what it is, she lies about it. They are not even good lies and everybody knows she's lying but she still does it. Everyone looks at me like I might be a lier too because she's my mom and she raised me, but it's not like that, I hate liers. I have too small children who love their grandmother, but at times I don't want them to be around her because I don't want them to think that lying is the right thing to do. Can anyone please give me advice on what to do about a lying parent? Please Help.

Confront her about it and say that you don't want your children to be exposed to that type of behavior..as long as she keeps lying tell her that you don't want your kids to have anything to do with her..this will probably frighten her and maybe she'll stop! good luck :)

well just talk to your mother,,,sheesh all adults and teens have these really stupid problems that even a 6 year old will know what to do

Every time you catch her in a lie, tell her "you know liars will all have their part in the lake of fire dont you mom?"

If she insist on sticking to her lie,just say

"Ok ,it's your lie ,I'll let you tell it your way".

Then let it go.
