  1. OMG!! call the fire department or somthing.....ummm digg a hole but not to close or it'll get smushed the reach you hand through!!!

  2. try stick in a long pole for him to crawl up it.

Or you can tie a string to a bucket, put food in it and when he goes in, reel him up?

    good luck

  3. rub peanut butter on a long stick or rope..insert into hole.the mouse will climb onto the stick to eat the peanut butter.pull up stick with mouse on it.go slowly and carefully, might have to try several times, but should work.good luck!

  4. Rather than bait (food), which your mouse might be a bit too freaked out to be very interested in, try giving him something to climb into.  Run a string through an empty toilet paper tube or longer paper towel tube, I'd actually put the string through it and hold on to both ends rather than risk it coming off.  Then lower than into the hole and see if the mouse tries to hide in it, then pull him up.  If you rub it in his bedding first so it smells familiar, that might improve your odds.  Poor thing!

Anything you can drape along the side for the mouse to climb up is a good idea, as the previous posters said--panty hose, a towel, rope--they're good climbers when they want to be.  If he's in a strange place his first instinct might be to either hide or to dig, rather than to climb, though, so it might be a while before he climbs out on his own.

Don't start doing silly things like dumping water down there, he'll drown.  Be careful with a shovel, too.

Good luck, we're pulling for ya!

  5. try tyhe pantihose..

  6. I honestly don't know, (Sorry about your mouse. I used to have 2 mice, Milky Way, and Twix) but while you're waiting to rescue your poor mouse, drop down some food for him, and try to speak in a calming tone.

  7. call 911 thay can deal with it

  8. Dig around the opening of the hole until you get deep enough to reach him. If that is not an option, you're going to have to get a net or something down there to scoop him out.

  9. put in something that he can climb up, quickly if the hole goes wider or into other holes he might get lost, and if it is another animals hole... so just hurry and good luck! If you lower down a fabric or pantyhose he might be able 2 climb up, maybe lure him up with a treat or a fav. toy! do u have tubing tht he can climb through (like hamster tunnels) if so u can lower tht in and hope he starts 2 climb up. keep an eye on him if @ all possible!

  10. i think maybe you could make the hole bigger and get him out

  11. can you lower a smal bucket or jar filled with food down the hole to act as a trap and when he is inside it pull it up

  12. cheese on a string.  i think they call it "string cheese."

  13. put a string down there, like he is a mini climber, and you have the escape rope. He could climb out. Mice are really smart, lets hope its just a hole and not a tunnel or he is gone by now. But i suggest the string. He will grab it and climb up.

  14. Use a pair of panty hose to hang down there so he can climb up them.

  15. do you have a shop vac? maybe cover the tip with somthing so there is only a small hole not large enough to suck up the mouse but enough to let the suction come thru to pick up the mouse.  what kind of hole is it? is it just dirt? start digging if it is.  can the mouse swim? fill the hole with water till the mouse can swim/float to the top.

if the hole is big enough to put something down there put a long stick to climb up or a towel or blanket or something.

  16. Make the hole wider the something very long and kinda scoot it up untill u can grab it

  17. Mice are famous for their ability to climb....on anything.  Lower a rolled towel down the hole!  He'll find his way up.

  18. get a basket or box and tie a rope on the handle. chuck in some of its toys that have his scent on it and lower it down. you can also put in some treats but a mouse in distress will generally ignore food.

he will feel secure if he can smell his scent so also put some of his bedding in. when he walks into the basket, pull it up.

  19. jump in there with it

  20. ok, why do you have a mouse?
