  1. its broken

  2. with computer OFF Unplug mouse and start windows then when windows has started

Use CTRL plus S keys to bring up the start menu use tab key until shut down is highlighted press enter choose shut down when shut down reinsert mouse and reboot see if that fixes it if it does not try a friends mouse to see if you have the same problem if not you need a new mouse

  3. Take it to the vet...lol...oh, sorry..couldn't pass that up. Ummm, toss it and buy you another one.

  4. your mouse is dead..:( you can try to leave the light on but if he is stiff he is in mouse heaven..sorry may he rest in peace

and to t3 your spelling "ain't" so great either...

"wow ur grammer and spelling is great!!!"  I believe is should be are...and ur is your...and wow should be capitalized...leeve heem alone his mouse dyed.

hahahaha he was talkin bout his puter mouse...i am outta here

  5. It doesn't mean that even if the light is ON, it is still okey. This only means that your mouse is already defective. Replace it with a new one.

    good luck!

  6. check to see for any bent cables.

make sure it is functioning correctly looking at the device manager.

make sure it is compatible with the computer you are using.

if it is a rechargeable mouse you may need to switch the batteries.

check to see if you have it connected on the correct port.

if it still has warranty return it and ask for a new one or refund.

you might need to install some software from the manufacturers site for the mouse to function properly.

    first install the sotware.

    restart computer.

    connect mouse.

    see if it work out.

sometimes you need to restart the computer in order for changes to take effect.

  7. Try buying a Rat next time

    ;-)

  8. The mouse probably has a bent pin. If you have a backup mouse or something, you can try that. If the backup works, then there is something wrong with your other mouse. You may have to buy a replacement. Mice are cheap these days and ps2 port mice are even cheaper. If you want wireless, I suggest using a USB port mouse. Although it is slightly weaker, it has a tendency to last longer.
